Understanding that client advocacy does not end with the appellate process, in 2007 CAL launched two programs, the Parole Advocacy Project and the Prisoner Re-entry Program, to ease our clients' transition back into their communities. Though involving distinct components, these programs are part of an integrated effort to facilitate our clients' successful reintegration.

CAL's Conditions of Confinement Program addresses issues stemming from incarceration.  Law students and attorneys assist clients with a myriad of matters, ranging from transfer requests to obtaining medical help.
