employment opportunities

The Center for Appellate Litigation is a not-for-profit organization which provides high-quality appellate representation to indigent defendants on appeal and in post-conviction proceedings. Our cases arise in the Appellate Division, First Department, which covers convictions in Manhattan and Bronx Counties.

The Center offers four different kinds of employment opportunities: Full time staff attorney positions; law student summer internships; law student internships during the academic year; and fellowships in Justice First, our collateral relief project, and in its Parole Advocacy/Prisoner Reentry Project, for recent law graduates.
